Twists and turns
of metal torsos.
A woman upside down,
some enormous ravens, an apple,
a fat man doing yoga:
tree pose.
I stand on Canyon Road
admiring the bronzes,
thrilled by sculptures made of wood.
Peering through a window
I seriously considered a glass vase
for five thousand dollars
but for the sanity
of a perfect yellow leaf landing on my head.
