Who We Are 

The Rose & Thorn is published quarterly and run by a volunteer staff.  Please see our Masthead for a complete listing of staff bios and personal web pages.

Our web magazine showcases short fiction, poetry, essays, exclusive author interviews, literary articles and book reviews.  Our reading periods vary so please check our Submission Guidelines for regular updates. In addition, we provide a growing variety of writer's resources, including Interactive Forums, Market Information and our Scribe's Page.

The Rose & Thorn seeks to bring the voices of emerging and established writers to a discerning Internet audience.  Our readership spans the globe, from Europe to Australia, from India to our own backyard in the United States. In each issue, short fiction, poetry and other literary articles reflect the diversity and brilliance of authors who have something to say, and find unprecedented, imaginative ways in which to say it. In addition, we are open to new ideas and concepts from visitors and participants to this site.

In order to bring our writers and readers the future benefits of such interactivity as writing contests, honorariums and promotional giveaways, we are actively seeking sponsors to contribute to the continued evolution of this site in any way.
